Our History

Ayantek was founded in 2008 by Praveen Ramanathan, a 12-year veteran in the internet & digital consulting industry.

Over his career, Praveen built trusted and long-standing partnerships with many of his customers. He achieved this by maintaining a high-level of integrity, openness and dedicating himself to their needs and success. Having risen through the ranks starting as a junior software engineer, he also understood what it meant to be a trusted, respected and rewarded team member. Ayantek was established with those same values in mind - a vision to build a company that provided exceptional customer service, innovative solutions and a communal working environment where every member felt connected to the mission of the company and goals of its customers.

What's in a name?

Ayantek has its roots in the words Ayan + Tek. The word "Ayan" has many meaning across different languages. In Tamil (a south-indian language), it refers to the Creator. In Turkish/Urdu, it means something that is open and clear. In Hebrew, it means peace. In Somalia, Ayan means the-lucky-one or bright. In Sanskrit, it means speed. In biblical terms, it means "To Arrive". The richness in meaning across the global language landscape really aligns with the core values of the company.

SENIOR USER EXPERIENCE CONSULTANT

The Senior UE Consultant will design and develop web sites and web applications for Ayantek’s clients. The Senior UE Consultant will work with team members to create and design site functionality, structure, navigation, data flow and user interfaces, using our structured methodology for site and application design.  This individual will be responsible for conducting focus groups and usability tests in order to develop logical site and application schematics, as well as detailed user process flows.

In addition to architectural responsibilities, this individual will create visual designs and build out functional site prototypes. They will combine the information architecture, branding guidelines, and creative strategy to create a comprehensive visual design and user experience.

Specific User Experience Activities

• Work closely with clients and team members to create and design user interfaces, site structure, and site navigation using a structured methodology for information design
• Create logical site schematics used to determine the visual and functional layout of a web site or web application
• Create user profiles and logical flows of information used to precisely detail a user’s experience through an application
